Qétlee

2025-2026 [Sydney]
Home Appliance

I was introduced to the Qétlee project by the CEO of Endoluminal Sciences, who envisioned an appliance that delivers an authentic chai-making experience while making it accessible to users from all backgrounds.

The device uses a sensor array paired with an algorithm-controlled heating element to achieve consistent results when boiling milk for chai tea.

I joined the project when a working proof-of-concept already existed. The core challenge was converting the prototype work into a buildable, manufactureable product. My role was to lead the coordination steps toward delivery. This included collaborating with mechanical, software, and electrical engineers to finalize internal hardware and software; working with manufacturers to obtain fabrication and assembly quotes; sourcing necessary components; and refining the existing design into the final product envelope.

I was also responsible for creating all assembly documentation, including a Standard Operating Procedure for assembly, a Bill of Materials for component ordering and sourcing, and a User Manual for UL safety approval review.

Over the course of this project, I worked on 10 different physical prototypes and collaborated with manufacturing partners across multiple continents to bring this product to market.
